SESSIONÂ 1
Finding Your Anchor
Start by tuning into your current state of being and somatically exploring moments of ease. Learn how to identify and expand the sensations of non-conflict in your body to create a foundation of regulation. Through practices like pendulation and titration, you'll gently explore your body's edges and learn to balance activation and calm. By grounding into your seat and feet, engaging your five senses, and using simple statements, you’ll reconnect to the aliveness of the present moment.

SESSIONÂ 2
Expanding Pleasant Sensations
Bring a pillow or cushion to this session for a hands-on exercise to process and settle your nervous system. Through grounding and exploratory orienting, you’ll learn how to focus on something pleasant and embody the sensations it brings. Then, expand those sensations to settle your system further. You’ll also explore discomfort in your body using sensory details like shape, color, and temperature to process it effectively. Use the pillow to release mobilized energy and witness the discharge, moving into a renewed sense of safety. Don’t worry if you don’t have a pillow—Susana offers alternatives to ensure you get the most out of the practice.

SESSIONÂ 3
Embodied Accomplishment
Reconnect with a time you felt proud or accomplished, and revisit the moment through your body. Notice how the memory feels as you embody it and explore movements that may emerge naturally. You’ll learn to track the cycle of activation and deactivation, helping your system process and integrate this sense of achievement. Finish the session with grounding exercises and exploratory orienting to return to the present moment with more aliveness and clarity.
SESSIONÂ 4
Movement as Regulation
This session invites you to stand, with a chair nearby for support, as we explore active and involuntary movements. Through gentle swaying and pacing, you’ll notice where your body braces or holds tension, uncovering insights into where activation resides. We’ll move through the joints—wrists, elbows, shoulders—and the spine, torso, and arms, creating an opportunity to release tension stored in these areas. This practice allows you to map the body’s patterns and find greater ease and freedom in movement.
SESSIONÂ 5
Reflecting and Visioning
With two pieces of paper and something to draw with, you’ll engage in a creative exercise to process stress and invite possibility. Begin with Vagus nerve stimulation exercises, such as gentle head and eye movements, to ground and settle your system. On the first paper, draw a moment of stress from the past year and embody the feelings associated with it. On the second paper, envision and draw something you’d like to welcome in the coming year. Through this practice, you’ll embody the sensations of what it feels like to step into that vision now, cultivating hope and possibility for the future.
SESSION 6
Gratitude and Heart Openness
We’ll begin with a Vagus nerve stimulation exercise and a Voo sound practice to connect the brain and gut and settle your system. Next, you’ll explore a heart-opening exercise to connect with the aliveness in this part of your body. Through cultivating gratitude, you’ll discover its profound impact on both your mental and physical well-being. Wrap up the session with grounding and exploratory orienting, and learn how to create a heart-opener practice that you can incorporate into your daily life.

NICE TO MEET YOU
I'm Susana Victoria Perez
I am passionate about helping unlock people's hidden potential through our intuitive observation of their internal landscape. That's why I created embodyment. After observing people, including myself, who were disconnected from their bodies, holding onto trauma, and unable to tap into their innate potential, I developed a practice to help us reconnect with our body's intelligence. I bring a unique blend of expertise and experience in the field of mindfulness and embodiment. I am trained in Somatic Experiencing under Dr. Peter Levine and have extensive experience leading and facilitating groups, having served as the Director of Communication for Dr. Joe Dispenza for over three years. I blend all of my training and experience with the ancient wisdom, spirituality, and medicine of my Colombian and Venezuelan ancestry, which I grew up with being born and raised in South America. I am also a certified Level 2 Reiki practitioner.
